Wyndham Vale Medical Practice

For Wyndham Vale families who want one general practice to look after everyone, Harpley Doctors is a Wyndham Vale medical practice option based in neighbouring Werribee. We offer ongoing care at every age, with appointments seven days a week. This page covers children's health, women's health and pregnancy, long-term conditions and mental health. It also explains what happens when someone is too unwell to come in. See Patient Info and Fees for fees and practice policies.

Choosing a Wyndham Vale medical practice

The practice is in Werribee, not Wyndham Vale, at shop T20, 1 Hindson Street in Harpley Town Centre. Wyndham Vale families are welcome to make us their regular practice.

Keeping one GP over time

We believe in long-term relationships with patients, so you see familiar faces at each visit. Our reminder system also prompts you when preventive care and health checks fall due.

If we are your regular practice, you can register with us through MyMedicare, the Australian Government's voluntary scheme that links you to your usual practice and preferred GP. Register online with Services Australia or ask at reception.

Care for children

Children's health assessments, developmental checks and immunisations are part of everyday care here, and child health is a special interest for several of our GPs. See Paediatric Health, Early Intervention and Immunisation.

Women's health and pregnancy

Antenatal and pregnancy care, cervical screening, contraceptive advice, and IUD and Implanon insertion and removal are all available. Details are on Women’s Health and Ante-Natal Care.

Long-term conditions

Diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease and respiratory or kidney conditions need regular review rather than one-off visits. Our GPs manage them over time; read more on Acute and Chronic Condition Management.

Mental health

Confidential Mental Health support is available for adults, children and adolescents. Your GP can talk through what is going on and plan the next step with you.

Between appointments, Lifeline and Beyond Blue, both listed in our patient resources, offer support any time.

If someone is too unwell to come in

Home visits are available for clinic patients who are too unwell to attend. Call the clinic to check whether a home visit can be arranged to your address before you rely on one.
